Accepting Christ

    It is our practice to sing a hymn at the close of every service.  This part of our service is called "the invitation" and during the singing of this hymn, you are invited to make your way to the front where the Pastor will be waiting to receive you should you feel led by God's Spirit to make a decision for Him:

1.  To accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

2.  To make a public profession of faith in Christ looking forward to baptism and church membership.

3.  As a Christian, to recommit your Life to Christ.

4.  To seek personal, spiritual counseling concerning the matters of your life.

5.  To join Green Valley Baptist Church:

    (1)  By letter of transfer from another Baptist Church.  You do
not need to have your letter in hand.  Our Church clerk will
secure your membership letter.

    (2)  On the statement that you have trusted Christ as your
personal Savior and have been scripturally baptized but a
membership letter is not obtainable.
