Green Valley Baptist Church is an old Church with a new Church attitude. We were organized in 1895 in a local school house. Not long thereafter, local land owners and contributors built a building where they could meet and call their own. Through the years, Green Valley has grown and so has the church. In 1996, a new 21,400 square feet facility was completed to continue the commitment to reach the world for Christ beginning at "Our Jerusalem."
                                                                
     Green Valley Baptist Church is affiliated with the New Lebanon Baptist Association and the Southern Baptist Convention supporting missionaries at home and around the world. The Church is very active in the community in lending a helping hand to those in need. House repairs, cutting wood for the elderly, preparing food, sitting with the sick, mission trips, and nursing home ministry are just a few of the "hands on" ministries in which Green Valley is involved.
                     
     Green Valley has a strong youth and children's ministry. Each Sunday morning there is a full program for children in the Children's Church. Mission groups for both children and youth on Wednesday evenings. The youth are involved in mission activities and evangelism trips as well as camping trips.

The Youth Group is selling tickets for a Bonanza Breakfast Buffet on June 1st from June 8:00 - 11:00 am. Tickets are $7.00 each and include buffet and drink. See any youth member and/or the table in the nursery area before and after services.

Cards, Calls & Contacts Outreach Ministry will meet each month on the first and third Tuesday at 6:30 pm.

Operation Christmas Child -May - Hairbrushes and Combs. Items needed are Toothpaste (245), Washcloths (165), Soap (225).

Vacation Bible School is June 23-28, Gospel Light's "SonWorld Adventure Park". Sign up sheets for teachers are in the foyer on the bulletin board. Please sign up today!

VBS meeting with all teachers, music, and recreation volunteers after church on May 26th in the Fellowship Hall. Material will be distributed.
